My last period was Jan 31. I started spotting on Feb. 23rd. It lasted 2 days. I took a HPT on the 25, but there was only a faint line. Waited until this morning to test again and nothing! Now I am spotting again. Please Help!!

You may have had a chemical pregnancy which means that the egg failed to implant correctly and it was giving off a signal at first thinking it was pregnant and then when it didn't implant it realised it was a failed pregnancy. this can be very confusing and upsetting.
The other option is unlikely but I feel I need to mention it. If the spotting is a dark almost black colour or resembles coffee granules, or you have any pain in one of your sides or a pain in your shoulder (this is a referred pain some get) make sure you get checked out immediately. Positive and negative tests can sometimes mean an ectopic pregnancy.
I would assume its more like a chemical from your description though.
