I am 17 years old and for around 9 months now I have been experiencing constant heavy bleeding with no stop every day all day, it is really annoying, I have the implant and have had it for a year, I was given the pill to take aswel to stop the bleeding but now i am bleeding over the pill also. Whilst bleeding there are a lot of big clumps that come out too, having been to the doctors 4 times without being given a proper answer I am conserned and was wondering if anyone could help?

I can't imagine how horrible that must feel, but I can't see any other alternative than for you to see a different doctor because there must be some cause behind this. If the hormonal treatments you were given didn't work, you have no other option but to look for the better ones. It is not just the impossible discomfort of this much bleeding - it's the negative side effects that blood loss will lead to eventually, like anemia and exhaustion.

Hi there I'm having exactly the same problems as you! I'm 16 and was bleeding for six months so a year and a half ago got the implant done and it hasn't made the slightest difference I've not been bleeding for the last 2 years and I'm starting to feel very down about it! I've been to the doctors numerous amount of times and they gave me transamic acid and it hasn't helped one bit
