I recently underwent a fissurectomy and a hemrrhoidectomy at the same time. It will be two weeks since the surgery. I am in constant pain all the time. I can't continue to take the pain pills because they are making me constipated and I cry every time I have to have a BM. I take stool softener everyday along with myralax. I have constant stool leakage from my rectum all the time. I'm taking ten sitz baths per day just so I can be somewhat comfortable. What am I doing wrong. How long will recovery take??? My Dr said two weeks before I had the surgery. And like I said...it will be two weeks on Tuesday. I was even kept in the hospital for three days after the surgery due to a high temp. I don't know what I am doing wrong....HELP!!
