could i be pregnate even tho i had my period ?

Now, this is going to sound totally stupid but i'm serious. I haven't had sex (i'm still a virgin), but me and my boyfriend have been fooling around quite a bit for the past month, and let's just say we did some "unsafe things". We tried to have sex once with a condom but that didn't go very well so we stopped. 

I had my period a few days ago, it hurt like it always does but now it's over but i'm still having these bad pains in my stomach now and again and I don't know what is the cause. So i'm thinking that maybe I could be pregnant, because like I said we did some "stuff". 

I know this really sounds stupid giving the fact that I'm still a virgin but I've read in books (i've done my fair set of research) that it's not common for a woman to get pregnant if she's still a virgin even if "fluids" are involved but it is not impossible and it has happened before (Talk about Virgin Mary)... So basically I'm scared and need someone's opinion, i'm thinking on getting a pregnancy test tomorrow if i have the guts.
