i started spotting on the 5th which lasted till the 10th. i have never spotted before so i was worried it might be preganancy because it came with a little bit of nausea. i took a preganancy test that came out negative and i have lower abdominal pain that's dull almost like a menstrual cramp but less painful. i think there is inflammation in the vagina and my urine is a lighter color than usual. what could this mean?

Are you on the PILL or using any othe rkind of birth control? Sometimes these hormonal methods do cause spotting.
