Sperm needs to get into your vagina not just on or near it for you to get pregnant. Was there any penetration? Was there precum? It is considered not to contain sperm if he hadn't recently ejaculated.
The first sign is often a missed period. Without a test it's hard to say if you're pregnant. Can you have a friend buy the test? Be sure that if you do test that you use your first morning - wakeup - urine. It is more concentrated so it's more likely you'll have an accurate result.
