Hi, my dad also had a stroke when I was 11 years old. It was a challenge for our whole family. The worst was when we took him to the hospital, he had hemorrhaging stoke, what means bleeding into the brain. He needed immediate surgery, and was unstable for a few days. As he got better we were relieved. Now, I see some progress in his recovering, and since he started physiotherapy he relearned some things like moving hand, making steps and more. He needed support in every way, by moving, eating, bathing; it was very difficult to communicate with him.
