I was diagnosed with bladder cancer two months ago and last month I had the surgery to remove the three tumours they’ve found. Unfortunately it turned out they have to remove my complete bladder and I’ll have to have a pouch. They are giving me option to have internal or external pouch done, but I’m just overwhelmed with all that’s happening and I just don’t know what will be better for me in the long run.

Just the idea of external pouch seems kind of weird, but I’m afraid of further possible surgeries if I opt for internal pouch. Anyone on here living with the urectomy pouch and can help?
