Hi! My mum has arthritis and she use Etodolac to treat pain. It works but I wondered to know something about another medicament called Naproxen. I heard from my friend that his mum takes Naproxen for arthritis pain. What is difference between Etodolac and Naproxen? Does anybody try the both of these medicaments? Thanks!

Well, Etodolac and Naproxen belong to same group of drugs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or simply NSAIDs). The both of them can use to treat pain caused by arthritis. Problem is that this kind of medicaments can cause serious effects on the stomach. But as I know, Etodolac is much better for stomach because it makes less gastric damage then Naproxen.
