Hi Ladies, I went to the doctor today for a check up & my regular Pap smear. I have had the same bleaching problem for as long as I can remember (at least 20 years!) and finally got the courage to ask today while i was having my "lady appointment." His explanation was that the vaginal discharge is naturally acidic so that it can fight infection & stop issues such as thrush, and that is likely to be what causes it. He told me few women ask about it, but he suspects there's a lot more who don't! So there you go, a perfectly reasonable explanation for it!

Next time you are throwing them out wrap in plastic bags and throw in garbage can under other garbage. Just an idea. Even now for me, I hide my undies and pj bottoms as they stain too. I am no Doctor if scientist. Just an average woman but... I do know that what you eat will vary the PH level in your discharge. This makes me to believe that if you are eating certain foods or your body reacts go certain foods fhat your body will produce a more acidic or basic discharge causing the colors in your clothes to change.

The reason why our colored underware changes is because our ph balance is off. In other words, we are producing to much acid. Stop wearing those pretty underware..lace,satin, and especially the colored ones. The cute ones are for cute occasions, meant to be worn for a couple of hours max. Granted we want to look cute but all white COTTON will help.

Hi, the reason your black underwear have been bleached black is because vaginal discharge is SO acidic that it does have the power to bleach dark colored underwear! Totally normal don't worry. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it

That's weird...but I've been struggling with lots of discharge, smellyness (even tho I clean myself and trim down there) and its so smelly when I sit in class, I can smell it and its embarrassing... I feel disgusting and I want to get help but idk how to ask...I'm talk embarrassed (I'm a virgin and I am only 15) and its frustrating because I feel like the only one with this problem

hun , it is not your weight ! They taught my daughter about the discharge in health in 5th grade . some women get it only when ovulating others most of the time .
