Does a "pop" sound mean I tore the frenulum?

I was giving a hand job while he was hovering over me, and while pushing toward his base we heard a pop, he didn't say it was painful, but when we got up and turned the lights on he had a scary amount of blood coming out of him.  We both were freaking out, he asked me to leave.  I was so freaked out, and now he won't speak to me.  I tried to find as much info as I could and sent it to him.  It was an accident but this has never happened to me before.  I hurt him  =(    I hope in time he will call me back.   I don't know if he went to the doctor, I sure hope he did!!  Was the "pop" a possibility of a full torn frenulum?
