i had very light, very dark bleeding for a couple of days and it has since become very heavy. i have really bad cramps, feel sick and getting a light head. due to the type of pill i take im thinking it mite be an etopic? any advice

Without more info about the pill you are taking, it's hard to speculate. However, if you just started taking the pill or just stopped taking it, it would be normal for you to have some irregular bleeding. However, if there is a chance that you are pregnant (and no BC is 100% fool proof), and the cramping is a concern, see your doctor right away.
