I am a 16 year old male and wondering if someone can help me out. For what seems as long as I can remember, I've had a few red dots under the head of my penis where my foreskin was pulled back (I am circumcised). They do not hurt and never have and I have no idea what they are or why they're there. They appeared roughly at the age of 11 ( I think) and I have not told a sole about them or showed the doctor. They don't itch, burn, hurt or anything like that they're just there and are not from anything that involves being sexually active because up until this year i started being sexually active so I am unsure what they are caused from. I would really like to know what they are and how to get rid of them! Also these dots have never dissapeared they have always been there for years either soft or erect.. Below is an attached picture for easier understanding. Please! Help me out!

Dear Helpmeout,
It's a good thing that you do regular inspections of your genitals. This is a perfect example of how that on-going information can help you spot problems or resolve them. Keep it up in the future.
First, you say these two spots have been present for years...and that they predate your sexual activity. That's good to know. That should comfort you some.
Second, you say they don't itch or burn, nor give you any problem. So, they don't seem to be any problem except for appearance to you.
You say that you have not showed them to the doctor, but I think that's going to be the only way to get a final determination.
They may be simple skin tags or extra growth, but they won't hurt anything to leave them be.
Finally, your photo is extremely helpful in letting us see exactly what you mean. Normally, we do not allow photos on this website because of their tendency to be mis-used or abused. But yours is helpful, without being erotic or exploitive, and so I've left it intact.
I wouldn't make a special appointment with the doc over this, but I WOULD bring it up to him the next time you have a regular office visit. If necessary, just tell your folks you need some private time alone with the doc, if it's an issue for them. At your age, they should respect your request for some privacy.
PS: Please make sure you are using protection if you're going to be sexually active. You don't mention it in your posting, so I thought I would.
