Hello, I had encephalitis around the age of one and had seizures. I am an now 45. For the most part I have lived a healthy life and never gave much thought about the illness. Over the last couple of years, I have had issues with migraines and last year problems with my hearing. I was told that I am probably going to lose my hearing due to the encephalitis. I spoke to my parents about this and they told me they were told I could lose my vision and site. Everything I am reading makes it sound like you lose it right away. Does anyone know, if this is something can happen later in life? Thank you!
