I should start off by saying i'm only 19 and have had perfect health before this (never getting sick as all).Okay so on my birthday in late March (lucky me!) I had this attack that made my left hand and foot tingly but I could still move it. I had gone to the ER and by then it had subsided. The ER doc said I had anxiety due to my veritigo (I had random bouts of vertigo that started in late Jan-early Feb and they weren't terrible and I would only get them once a week). I wasn't having a vertigo attack at the time of this attack but whatever. He told me to see an ENT. Soooooo late-mid May I had another attack affecting my right side instead. I had tingles in my hand/foot and I had vision loss kind of. It was like I had snow all around my peripheral vision and a black and white flashing line in my right eye. My parents told me it was anxiety again and didn't take me to the ER this time even though i was thinking i was having a damn stroke. It eventually went away in an hour or two but i was left with a massive headache on the ride side of my head towards my temple. Anyways, after this I was left weak in my right side for a couple weaks and my vision seemed like it constantly had snow in it, i actually had to push back my vacation for a week. Saw my GP, she told me not to worry about it (I had gotten a CT scan in the ER of my brain and they found nothing). I went to England and my weird side effects went away. I was there for a whole month from the end of May till July 1st. SO the last Monday I was there I got the WORST migraine of my life. Started with a black and white sparkly line in my right eye that occasionally spread to my left eye, bad vision, MASSIVE HEADACHE on the left side around my temple. I never got the tingling this time but i did get some weakness. This migraine made me psychically ill for around 5 hours. Finally went away. Ever since i've had the same problems as listed before (had a smaller migraine that same week) and they WON'T GO AWAY. It's ALL in my right side; the weakness, tingling, vision problems (in both eyes). I've noticed it gets worse when I get drunk as my right hand seems very numb but I can still use it properly. Ok sorry this is soooooooo long but i'm scheduled to see a neurologist soon. In the mean time, do these sound like migraines!? I've done a lot of research and it definately sound like migraines to me. I deduce strokes because I haven't lost any amount of cognitive thinking.
