Extreme lower abdominal pain after sex

this happened to me for the first time with my new bf. he is bigger than my other bf's. the sex wasnt rough but he's BIG. the pain was crippling and i felts as if my insides were commin out........the pain went away after about 15 min. we had sex about 20 min after and it was kool.....nothin....and it was more rough the second time than the first......IM CONFUSED!!!

I have the same pain, but it's not after every sex act, maybe every other, or every few. HPV has nothing to do with it. I was diagnosed with HPV in 2003 after my bf cheated on me with a woman who had it. You cannot get rid of HPV as many of you may thing, you just will get rid of active strands until you have sex with another person who has it. I would look into hernia's for any of you who have the pain, esp if any of you had been pregnant recently, miscarried, or had abortions- hernia's develop quite often after any type of pregnancy and feel the same way.

me and my boyfriend has been going out for 7 months now , and hes been trying to get me pregnant for almost 3 three months and it seems not to be working . ive took a few pregnacy test and they all came back negative , i went to the doctors not to long ago cause ive been having some pain in my lower stomach and back and they couldnt find anything wrong with me . they gave me some trimadol and it hasnt done nothing for my stomach . i even had blood work and x-rays done and they said there isnt anything wrong with me . im having all the symptoms of a pregnancy women but i dont think im pregnant . sometimes its hard for me to sleep , sit up , and walk . my body temperature goes up sometimes and i feel dizzy and light headed , i also use the bathroom alot , and start going to bed early and sleeping alot . i always feel sick now and dont feel like doing anything . ive been trying to get an altrsound done but they tell me that i dont need one which i think i need one , i just want to know what is going on inside me cause i cant take the pain anymore . what should i do . ?

I just had this same problem. WHILE my boyfriend (of 7 years) and I were having sex, we had to stop because it just started to hurt, BAD! We werent doing anything crazy and in the missionary position. We have a daughter so I know what it feels like to have contractions, ect. The pain felt just like I was in labor, having contractions. I criend and couldnt stand up, I was crawling on the floor and curling up into a ball, like in the fetal positon. I just took a flexeril, (muscle relaxer) about 15 minutes ago and am now laying on the couch and it feels a lot better, but I can still feel a little pain. I have a IUD, which is a type of birth control that is incerted into your cervix, So I was really worried that it had come out or something. I have never had this happen before and have no idea what the reason could be besides the IUD. Unless it is a cyst on my ovary, which I have had before right after I had my daughter. So after reading all of these posts, I see a lot of people mentioned the cyst, so I think this could possibly be what the reason is.

last night i was with my gf n yh we had sex normally but i think i was a little bigger than what she's use to, i dono if the amount of times you cum matters but she did like 8 times and then the next day she was in alot of pain she can barely move, its a pain in her chest her sides and her vagina, im not really sure what to do she took some zantax or somethig but im not sure if it worked i think it did and today its just gotten worse for her, she cant even get out of bed... any girls help would be appreciated.

It's now illegal for your doctor to give that kind of information to your parents if you ask them specifically not to.

I experienced the same too but without vommiting or bleeding, does it usually go away after ? And how long does it take if so ?

My symptoms include –

heavy periods since my teenage years and now after two kids I think its worse… Even while nursing I got my period right away – most of my friends didn’t have their period at all while they were nursing. (and I nursed my first son a year – second son same thing got my period right away and got it every month very heavy)
After my first son – around 2 to 3 months I was having very tired sluggish feelings – want to sleep all the time – lots of hair loss (which I thought was normal after having a baby) the doctors diagnosed me with hypothyroidism (which my mom is the same and 1st cousin was diagnosed after her 1st child ) WEIRD…..was on synthroid high dose then eventually very low dose to where my doc told me to cut the pill in half dose, now I’m off of it completely.
last couple months deep pain during sex (not all the time)
very irregular bleeding – usually right after my heavy painful period - I don’t bleed for about a week then it starts with bright red blood one day then brownish then red – then it gets to reddish brownish stringy blood – my last period very large blood clots…
have to wear a pad everyday
have period pain, cramping pain quite often sometimes every other day in lower abdomen – mostly in my right side but left sometimes
I get really bad headaches right before my real heavy period.
My mood swings are awful – I feel like I have PMS everyday….
I was on the pill for around 10-12 years – it took us awhile to get pregnant. Got off the pill tried a year – nothing happened. Had some csyt rupture which was so so painful. Ended up having exploratory surgery (they went in and discovered I had endometreosis and cyst on my ovaries) tried for another year – no luck! Then they blew my tubes with the dye and found out my fallopian tube were blocked. Doc said go home and try get pregnant right away – he said – that night we did and we got pregnant right away. Very healthy pregnancy and handsome healthy baby boy.
Inbetween baby #1 and Baby #2 still bad periods – tried birth control while nursing (the nursing pill one) no luck with it – got off the pill and still bad periods
We had no problem getting pregnant with baby#2 Health pregnancy and healthy baby boy.
Been 3 ½ years since my last baby - Period was kind a back to normal until these last 2 years
My mom is a breast cancer survivor twice around so I’m scared
I know my own body and know something is not right and off balance (by the way I have very bad break outs around my chin/mouth area – red swollen cystic bumbs)
Yes I know your probably wondering why hasn’t she gotten this taken care of… I called my OBGYN - talked with the nurse – she said they would probably have to do all these test like before but I had insurance back then. We just recently moved to a country with a lot better health care so I am trying to get it straight to go see a doctor – I don’t think I can take this much longer.

This happened to me for the first time last week. I have extreme pain in my lower ab area. I recently had a yearly annual pap and was told I had HPV as well. This is def something you should get checked out. HPV can lead to cancerous cells. This is the first time I have had an abnormal pap exam, and now I am having all kinds of problems. UTI's, Bacterial infections, and even bleeding. I am not sure what causes this and I was told to come back in 6 months for another pap exam because of the HPV.

I had the same abdominal pain today after sex with my boyfriend. I still have it, not as intense, 7 hrs latter. We did doggy style. I think this position goes deeper and that is why I only get this feeling when we do that position. It has only happened twice, but both with in this year. I got the sick to my stomach, dizzy feeling too. I think the dizzy, sick to your stomach is brought on by the sudden sharp pain, because once I calmed down and the pain subsided I was fine. I have been told by my gynecologist that I have large cyst on my ovaries, this could be it, I'm going to the doctor and find out.

As far as the girl who doesn't want to tell her dad and go to the doctor. Just let your parents know that you need to go to the gynecologist. You should be going once a year after you get your period for regular exams. Then let you gynecologist talk to you. They wont tell your parents anything.

Cyst on your ovaries are harmless. I've been living with them for 5 years, if not more. They do need to be regularly checked that they are not growing. Of course if this pain persist they could cause other problem. Hope everyone finds out what's going on.

The pain you are all experiencing could also just be muscle tenderness from working your abdominal muscles during sex. I most notice it when after the morning after I have been on top or if I had several orgasms while my feet were up so my lower abdomen was tight. A couple of advil and a heating pad often help but the pain may last a few days.

I had a baby almost 2 years ago now, but ever since then when my husband and i have sex i get a pain down in my lower stomach. Its not all the time but it really hurts and usually hurts for 2 days or so.. Im not sure what it could be and i dont like doctors to go find out what it could be

its not something you should be necessairly worried about. this happens if your partner is a little large for your frame and hits the cervix while entering you. the same thing happens with my girlfriend if i get too rough with her, ask ur guy to go a little gentle on you.. you can make that really erotic for the both of you.. sometimes even due to excessive blood flow the tissues near the pelvic region swell up n get sore later on.. and also having sex is like an intense workout, so nuscle pain is naturalthere might be the possibility for other not so common complications too, so if ur pain doesn;t go away for more than 5-6 days then please consult your gynac..

In the midst of sex in the morning, I felt a sudden sharp pain. It felt like menstrual cramp at first which elevated to extreme pain till i can't even move an inch. I thought the pain would subside so i took a painkiller and went to bed. The pain persisted till night when i almost fainted when i go to the loo. About 3am through the night, i felt like i was dying, i can't even lift my arms let alone shift myself. I was later then admitted to the hospital to find the cause of my sufferings. They done alot of unneccessary test and couldn't get to the result of why the pain i suffered. Ended up i requested for an ultrasound scan and viola! Internal bleeding!! I was then scheduled for an emergency operation at about 6pm. All in all, i suffered 24hrs! Lucky i was alive. The caused: a cyst pressing on my veins somehow burst while having sex. Mind you, it was just normal sex, missonary style. I lost 2 litres of blood, had 2 packs of blood transfusion. Conclusion, please do not wait! Ask the doctor for an ultrasound scan! Good luck!
