Hi ladies, how have you all been doing? I noticed the forum has been pretty quiet lately so I’d like to assume it’s because a lot of you have been doing better :) if not, I hope you’re taking everything a day at a time, stay strong!

I’m so glad ur feeling better!! Same for me, I was actually having issues with my menstrual cycle for the past few months but I finally got it and I’m hoping I don’t experience any setback. Even if I do though, I don’t think it’ll be as bad as they were before because now I know it’s just my hormones

glad to hear you doing better too!!! and yes.... now that things make sense again, looking back i can definitely see it was all hormone related. Good to hear your cycle has come back :-)

Depression was still a bit rough around 6 months for me. that was the last thing to go. The only thing for me now is feeling tired at certain times like i jsut want to sleep but i can SO DEAL with that!!!!

That’s great that you’re feeling better!! My symptoms didn’t start until I was about 3-4 months off of the pill so I was feeling quite horrible at the 6 month mark lol but I’m a year and a few months off now and I feel back to myself.

I'm so jealous of everyone here who is doing better. Everytime the 2nd half of my cycle comes I go into the darkest depression. I have this horrible fear this is permanent. I have never been depressed in my life.

Hey, I know it’s easier said than done but trust that all of us who are doing better have gone through that stage. As much as you convince yourself that it’s permanent, it really isn’t. I thought I would be stuck like that forever but time is the best healer, I got better and better with each day. Since you know that you’ve never been depressed before, remind yourself that it is just your hormones fluctuating. I’m so sorry you’re going through it, it really isnt easy at all. Stay strong!

To the people saying they've been having panic attacks and feeling really "fuzzy headed" and out of it.. just want to let y'all know that is something called depersonalization. When you have a panic attack , are severely depressed, or have PTSD you brain tries to protect itself so you get this funny feeling in your head almost like everything aroubd you is surreal. The first month I went off the pill my daily panic attacks were so intense that I thought I was going to die. My brain started feeling really weird and when I went to the ER and told me that depersonalization is something many people experience after panic attacks and it's nothing to be afraid of. Sometimes it takes a while to go away and I lived through this feeling like I was in another world for months. Now that's gond and I have depression and bone crushing fatigue every month. I'm hoping this ends soon.

It will end!!! all of it will stop and you will be your normal self again. Try help your body heal naturally,by eating clean, ie fresh foods, nothing canned or processed for a while, limit coffee and sugar intake for a period of time as well. A good B1, B2,B5, B6 and B12 mix or a Bcomplex, Vit C, Magnesium (before bed) ,Omega 3. A good probiotic to help with the fuzzy head and depersonalization .... Chasteberry is also great with helping hormones balance but TIME is your main ingredient.
Hang in there honey you going to be more than ok

Hi ladies,
I’m curious as to if any of you have noticed any change in vision while going through all of this. About a week ago I noticed some wavy lines in the peripheral vision of my right eye. I have made an appointment with my eye doctor but my appointment isn’t until mid August, I’m considering going to a different doctor if I could get an appointment sooner but wanted to check if any of you have experienced anything similar.

Hey, I’ve been wearing glasses for about 6 years now and I have noticed that my vision did get worse this past year (but I’m not really sure if it’s just from the glasses or actually from the birth control). When I’m out in the sun I do see the wavy lines a lot, I think they’re called floaters. I never thought there could be a correlation with the bc, I just thought it was from me always squinting lol which I think is also possible. Definitely let us know the information when you see your eye doctor! Hope all goes well
