Martha, if you have some time look up Graham Cooke on YouTube " the language of heaven"
He said something so profound "Lord what do you want to be me in this time that you couldnt be to me without these circumstances" , that was a real key for me

I'm curious if anyone else here is like me. It seems like a good portion of y'all have anxiety and panic attacks. I started out like that- debilitating panic attacks and anxiety that was sending me to the error constantly, but then that stopped after a couple months and it changed to awful depression (mostly during my period) , chronic fatigue, and OCD. Does anyone else have bad depression as opposed to anxiety? I never had depression in my life and now I have times where I don't even want to live anymore. My skin is a wreck, my hair is falling out, my boobs shrunk, I have worsening cellulite. That's all physical stuff, but this just really sucks. I don't understand why so many people can go off the pill and be completely fine.

I go between periods of extreme anxiety and extreme depression so you’re definitely not alone! I have very little motivation to do things and the thoughts I have really scare me sometimes. I’m going to see a naturopath soon to get my hormones tested and to test for vitamin deficiencies as well, because a lot of deficiencies can cause depression and anxiety.

I went through the EXACT same thing. anxiety, OCD, chronic fatigue but the depression was the worst for me. I felt there was no point to life. Like i just didn't find enjoyment in any thing. It was horrible feeling like that when I've always been a person that gets excited and enjoys the simple things in life. I eventually saw that just when i couldn't take anymore of it.... it would start going away and returning at certain points in my cycle so i realized that it would eventually stop and it has. i'm basically my normal self again. Normal mood swings now during my cycle , but its the usual stuff id deal with before my period before the pill.

Vit B12 helped a lot with OCD. i would take about 2000mg a day.
Then i found a realy great mix of B1,B2,B5, B6 and B12 in one capsule and that has been fabulous with fatigue. Fatigue has an effect on the mood for sure. Magnesium helped for sleeping and energy production as well.... chasteberry has been helping with balancing my hormones too.

The point is, it will stop... all this "craziness" will stop. You are going to be yourself again.

Spot you with the deficiencies. My thoughts also scared me .... i was like, what in the world is going on... my perception of reality was all warped. but i started thinking, hey, my thoughts cant hurt me unless i act on them.... but you feel so uncomfortable in your own head because its not who you are and cant understand why all of a sudden life doesn't make sense.

It does stop though. you do have to help your body heal though with mild exercise like walking , jogging or cycling, swimming... good clean eating, vitamins and minerals and sleep and be around people you love and do things you used to enjoy doing... dont hide out. isolation is not good at this point...

How long did it take for the depression to leave you? It's weird because i'm actually not too bad until like the last day of my period and then this awful, tearful depression hits which makes no sense. I've been taking b complex and magnesium for a while now and it definitely helps with the fatigue. I just find when i'm on my period I isolate myself and I have so much negative self talk and depression it's terrible.

Hey, I'm 11 months off and just had a period (my cycle is very irregular)- I didnt know it was coming and felt like I was going crazy!! I felt so depressed, crying a lot, feeling like what was the point, thinking of ending it all. Well now I'm on my period my mood is actually so much better. I have experienced depression throughout this past year but it's always temporary and always gets better x

Hey girls I just wanted to post an update. I got my nexplanon implant removed last August and symptoms started in September, I was at my worst in November. Initially i had horrendous panic attacks, I'm sure you all know this is the worst symptom. I was at the doctors once a week, i went to A&E a few times, i had days of no sleep, i couldn't work. So to anyone who is in this stage- it gets better!!! For me this was really bad for about 3 months.

My timeline was like this-
First month- normal but lots of tingling in my hands and feet
Months 2 -3: extreme anxiety and panic. Fuzzy head like bees buzzing in my brain. Just chaos really
Months 4-6: Went back to work, still had a lot of symptoms which caused me stress. Lots of dizziness and vertigo. Feeling like I was on a boat. Nausea. Stomach problems. Tinnitus. Eye floaters. Fatigue. Insomnia. Bad immune system. Headaches and fuzzy head.
Guys i also got an eye test and was prescribed glasses which helped a lot with my dizziness.
Months 7 - 10: Period is still once every couple of months, and it brings on symptoms. I get really light headed sometimes and fatigued but don't sleep well. More depression than anxiety. However symptoms are more manageable and my life is more normal.

I'm still dealing with some stuff but it's nowhere near what it used to be!! It's taken a year and I'm still not 100% but SO much better. I'm barely even check this forum because I'm not thinking about it!! The only reason I am on now is because I had q period and am having some symptoms.

Anywagy thinking of you all xx

That’s happened a lot to me as well! I feel great on my period and as soon as i‘m done BAM i get anxious again. Luckily now that I’m already about 1 year and a half off I’ve gotten a lot better than I was in the beginning so the anxiety is light and temporary. Trust me you’ll get better!!

Does anyone else get really bad brain fog on their period? Like you feel like your head is full of cotton and can't think? That's one of my biggest problems, and fatigue. I also have a million eat floaters and my vision got so blurry when I went off the pill I had to start wearing glasses daily.

Yes, I get really bad brain fog and my short term memory is horrible when on my period. I know it’s a regular cycle symptom but this past year it’s gotten worse for me because of this experience. I’ll be talking to someone and literally forget something I was gonna say, and I sometimes can’t think of the words to say because my mind is so foggy. My vision also got worse and I had to get new glasses
