A little background. I'm 22 years old and have been on birth control since I was 16. Last month (January) I decided to stop taking birth control because I ran out of refills and couldn't get in to see a doctor. I didn't get my period. This month, February, I began taking it again and got my period right on time and very suddenly.

Tonight, while changing a tampon, out with it came about a two inch piece of fleshy material that is most likely uterine lining. This has never happened to me before. I kept putting toilet paper up there to make sure there was no more, but a little more came out again. I am now writing this, and have a strange dull pain on the side of m vagina wall where the fleshy piece came out.

Is this cause for concern? I've never had this happen before.

Thanks in advance for your adice and help.

The same thing just happened to me. I'm under the exact same conditions you described. Missing birth control for a month then missing a period and it coming suddenly this month.
