Hello, I am a 23 year old female and I've been having this same flutter like twitch on my lower left abdomen for the past two days. I am sexually active with my fiancé. I've never had a child nor been pregnant nor do I think I am. It's not painful at all. When it first started, it kinda tickled so I didn't mind it. As it continues to take place it becomes more, and more annoying. I have a very irregular menstrual so it changes from month to month, or just skips a month or two. I know I get ovarian cysts, but never had this before. Someone please give me a little information about this fluttering twitch.

Thank you in advance,
-KodyLynn

Hi Kody I am a 30 yr old female and it's the same exact feeling for me .. At first I thought it's because I did some strenuous lower ab exercise but as I'm reading up on it there are so many things it could be ... Not pregnant or on any birth control or anything like these other women say... I really have no clue what it could be but it's keeping me up and I'm annoyed !!! Going to the doctor tomorrow

i read celiac disease causes twitching as well. i als0 hope u never drank enough alcohol at a party to black out cause you may n0t remember having sex as well. celiac is you have a allergy to most grains. like dough, noodles, and flour and they put you on a glutten free diet.

Hi there, I know U posted this about a year ago, I hope however U get some sort of notification. I have the coil too but for last week or so that familiar fluttering at the pit of my tum, today it's more obvious and my tummy moved. I did a test just to be on safe side which came back negative. What was the result of your fluttering tummy? Thanks

I have had these same fluttering sensations daily for about a year. I am 46. I found that when I do a foot soak 1-3 x/week with bath salts or apply magnesium oil on my abdomen the spasms/fluttering goes away. If I stop either of these 2 treatments, the fluttering comes back the next week. For me, it seems to be a magnesium deficiency. However, if i take magnesium supplements, the fluttering does NOT go away.

I'm getting fluttering low down for 2 days. It's like when your eye pulsates and you can see it. It's like that. Annoying me now. It doesn't hurt. I'm definitely not pregnant as I haven't been sexually active for a while. I have endometriosis, but after reading this I'm worried I now have something else wrong. Period isn't due for another 10 days. Been through pregnancy before which ended badly, never had this.

I have a flutter in the same area and also have a Mirena IUD. I am planning on going to the doctor anyway for a check up, but this was just the oddest feeling! A .. flutter of sorts. Very light. Iwanted to call it a spasm but i don't know what it is. I'm not pregnant as I have a girlfriend
