Hi, I had RAI myself and it was hell, so, I would propose you to consider also other options to treat after cancer. My endocrinologist recommended the RAI, as I was promised to be able after some time to control the disease by taking a pill every morning. The effect of therapy was completely unsatisfying, as I became hypo and got Synthroid for therapy. I experienced problems I had never before in my life, huge weight gain, voice problems, inability to think clearly, concentrate or remember, depression and others. Finaly, I got Armour for treatment and got some relief, I feel like I have my life back again.
