I am trying to go off of .5 Klonopin (the generic one) once at night and have cut back .25 for a few nights. I was on it for years after having SLE and trying to cope with abuse, other. I am a gifted writer, playwright, poet, singer, artist (took art at VA TECH, sold a few paintings before then), above all a minister. The doctor that was kind enough to prescribe after my medical management doctor retired did not explain anything except to take 1/2 Prosom (I think I suggested it after he said they were in the same family and Klonopin was going off the market, was dangerous or something similiar.) nightly. I was taking Prosom (the Generic of) once every third night, Phenegran once every third night, and Atarax every third night along with .5 klonopin. My former Medical Management doctor told me I managed my medicine better than anyone he ever knew.
However, I don't know exactly what to expect. I have asthma, diabetes but weigh between 94 and 99, did weigh between 96 and 100 until a rheumatologist forgot I had diabetes and gave me three steriod shots, which upset my Endocronologist and me as it skyrocket my sugar and caused me to lose weight. Things are better and the rheumatologist knows to never do this again. He' the one who had introduced me to Symvic (sp) One and that injection and God's grace helped tremendously, when he drew fluid from my knee and gave the shot. He doesn't like computers but will learn, I'm sure. He is a great rheumatologist.
Thanks for any advice. I must never make a mistake, have to mask negative feelings.
