i had an abortion 1 day ago (6 weeks 3 days) but i am scared and worried because i stopped bleeding last night. I havent been bleeding all day and i have no idea if that is normal. but im having bad cramps and somehow i am bloating... i look more pregnant now then i looked when i was pregnant.. worried! I have not been active at all and been eating all the meds that were prescribed. all i have been doing is laying around and sleeping. i am worried that the surgical abortion did not go well. and i might still b pregnant?????????????????

Everything sounds normal.
You can expect some bleeding afterwards and you can expect some cramps.
The bloating is normal too. It won't last long. Take it easy and rest up. Your body has been through a lot.
It is very unlikely you are pregnant.

The bleeding varies amongst the individual. Lack of it doesn't mean the abortion wasn't successful. The D&C would have taken care of that.

Don't worry so much, you where only 6 weeks, that's not too much to get rid off, wait to do the check up to clear your mind, but for now assume it was sucessful. I had the abortion pill yesterday at 5/6pm started heavy bleeding, early labour (heavy period) cramps. Codine and paracetomol and ibruprophen wheren't helping much. Woke up today, lot less bleeding in fact light period bleeding. I did have the depo which may be effecting the abortion, are you on any contraception, could this be shortening the bleeding time? Either way be happy, a lot of people would rather be in our situation.
