My doctor thinks that I might have hemolytic anemia based on the long term use of some anti inlammatory drugs, and they want to test me with haptoglobin. Has anyone else gone through this and could you tell me a bit abbout what it is that they actually do? Thank you so much.

Oh yes, absolutely. The good thing is that hemolytic anemia is not serious in the majority of cases, and that it will often even pass on its own without any treatment. It is horrible that drugs can do such a thing to you (and complications can happen!) and that is one of the reasons I only take treatment with a naturopath. Hope that helps.
