So me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex march 25 right before I felt my period coming(I have irregular periods). And before then my last period was in February. He pulled out before he cummed but he precumed in me. I took a pregnancy test a week later but it came out negative. That same week I had knee surgery on Friday and the doctors took my urine sample and didn't stop my surgery to tell me I was pregnant so I assumed my urine was clean. I wasn't pregnant. After my knee surgery I became very constipated and gained weight and assumed it was from all the antibiotics and drugs I was taking due to my surgery. I stopped taking them a week after surgery because I couldn't use the restroom. Now 3 weeks after I stopped taking medication, I am still constipated and only go to the bathroom successfully sometimes. I still have not gotten my period and it's about to be May. The only pregnancy symptoms I have are constipation and tiredness but I'm assuming that's due to my knee surgery and getting used to it but now I'm not so sure. Could I be pregnant?

Hi there

Home pregnancy tests can go wrong, however clinical tests are quite reliable. Medication during surgery can mask pregnancy symptoms. As for constipation, consult your doctor and take a mild laxative. Drink more of fluids and eat nutritious food. Good luck

Hi! Ya its May now and yesterday I started to get really bad cramping and I woke up today and my vagina and lower belly hurt really bad. I rarely ever get cramping when on my period so do you think it just hurts a lot because I'm going to finally have my period after two months? Or do you think it is more serious? I don't know whether to believe that I am pregnant or not because when they took my urine test before surgery wouldn't they have been able to see if I was pregnant?? I don't know what to do or think anymore what should I do??

Hi

Before surgery all sorts of tests are done to rule out infections, but they rarely conduct a pregnancy test [unless the patient suspects pregnancy or reports herself pregnant]. So, in all fairness please visit a doctor and have a clinical pregnancy done

Just have the hospital check to see if your pregnant. Just have them check again and make sure.
