It would be wonderful if someone can help me with some advice. I am struggling with bad, almost paralyzing headaches on the top of my head and the back of my head. Any painkiller works for getting rid of my headaches, but everyone knows that you can't just take painkillers all the time. What could be causing this? I know there are worse things in the world but I would love to be free from headaches.

That sounds an awful lot like a tension headache to me. Tell me, when you get a headache, do you have a tense feeling in your neck and shoulder area as well, or is your headache strictly limited to the back and top of your head? Tension headaches are caused by physical and mental stress, so doing something to relieve that stress should improve the situation.
