Hi Jessie,

Welcome to the boards.

Both of your symptoms, nausea and dizziness, are common side effects of dilantin so it could be the medication. However, assuming that you've been on this for a while and have not been experiencing any side effects, you should let your doctor know.

It could be the dosage needs to be adjusted or perhaps you are becoming tolerant of the medication.

It could also be an inner ear infection or something else. Your doctor would be the best resource in this case.

Hope that helps some. Please keep us posted as to how you're doing. Good luck.
