Interview with Teenmom17, a SteadyHealth Member and a Vote C

New interview with a Vote Contest Winner and a valuable Steadyhealth member. Teenmom17 has answered several question about herself and about her view on SteadyHealth. I hope that you will enjoy reading it.
Teenmom17, thank you for participating in this interview.


1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Well I am 17 years old. I am married I have a wonderful husband. I also have a 14 month old son that is my world, my whole universe. I am a stay at home mother for now. I am hoping one day to help troubled teens that live in a bad environment or young teenage mothers and mothers to be.

2. In your profile you mentioned that you are from Cleveland, North Carolina. Can you tell us what you like about Cleveland?

It's just a small town inside Iredell County (Hicktown). There’s not alot to say about it I love going to the county fair, and fishing. We have alot of sports events, and alot of places for kids to hang out. We are looking forward to the new children’s park that is coming in soon. It should be alot of fun. It's a small town but everybody knows everybody. And they can always be counted on when you need them.

3. What do you like about SteadyHealth the most?

I like coming on here and giving the best advice I can. And helping the ones that are my age and going through stuff I have been through. I love doing this because I wish I would've had somewhere to come like this when I had all my problems, big or small someone has an answer.

4. How much does participating in SteadyHealth discussions take of your daily time?

I'm off and on all day mostly. I spend time with my son and my husband. I usually get on when my son is napping or playing with his dad. So I say about roughly 3 or 4 hours a day.

5. On what section of the forum do you spend most of the time?

Pregnancy mostly, but I read almost every post and I research the questions and if I find a good enough solution then I will reply. But if I know it won't be helpful then I will leave it alone and hope someone else can give them a good answer!!!

6. Is there anything you don't like about the SteadyHealth community, something you would change or add?

I think we should have more Emoticons. I also think that posts older than 60 days that aren't getting a response should be deleted. But other than that everything is fine. I enjoy my time on here.

7. What moves you to come to SteadyHealth every day?

Knowing that I can help someone and that they appreciate my response. And I just love getting on to look at my posts and see if I have a new response. That makes me feel good about the little I am doing is helping thousands or more!

8. Have you made any friends since you joined this community?

Yes alot. I think I'm actually in the older click though. My nickname is "Runt". Alot of my friends on here have been by me since I joined. They know alot about me and are helpful. There names are Dark_Red, Njoylife, Kingfreeze, Boimajor, Bambi27, bbfeet. We have our on little chat and I enjoy it.

9. Do you have any suggestion on sharing knowledge on SteadyHealth discussion boards?
