How do I explain

So I bought myself a couple of new sex toys to replace my old broken one. I thought they would come next week, while my Grandma was at work (totally avoid her finding out.) But when I came downstairs this morning, there was my pkg. Instead of hitailing back upstairs, I went into the bathroom to open and sneak a peek. When I went back thru the living room, she had woken up from her nap.

She asked me what was in the box. And I replied that I had decided to buy myself a gift. I think my face had turned red. She raised an eyebrow at me but didn't ask anymore. I now have the box in my bedroom. But am dreading going back downstairs.

So, if she asks more, how do I expain that I masturbate and wanted a couple of new toys? Do I say just that? Say it's better than me risking pregnancy?

I never had "The Talk." But There were reasons for that, my background/past. I don't think they wanted to risk my remembering what happened when I was a baby/young child. Masturbation, let alone sex, isn't mentioned in this house. Unless speaking of a resident who "played" then wanted to shake your hand. We do laugh at sexual induendos on tv shows, but don't speak of them.

What should I do?
