It all started a week ago when I had severe pain in my testicles after masturbating. The next day I noticed my semen was very yellow and there was less volume than the normal amount. Another day passed and this was when I knew something was wrong for sure, my testicles were still aching, semen was completely dark yellow (no odor) and now I had aching in my lower abdomen. I visited the doctors today and gave a blood and urine sample. He prescribed me with 2 x 500mg Azithromycin which I've just taken with lunch. I'm very anxious to receive the results because my symptoms don't exactly point to Chlamydia... ie no burning while urinating,

I had to do a treatment and had drinks the night before- the health department guy said "we literally give this to drunk people wasted out of their minds and it cures them," so I don't feel bad about my few drinks before taking azythromicin 1000 mg.
Also- no sex for 5 days minimum. He said drinking won't affect treatment but it could hurt the liver if excessive. The first two days I felt racy and glittery so I didn't drink. I'm on day three now and feel better. I have lesser symptoms but they are still there. I caught mine at onset of symptoms so hoping it just has to do its thing and go away.
I know it stays in the body for 10 days working and doesn't even really start making antibodies for like a few days. But drinking won't stop its effect.

I guess everyone is different, some people don't even show symptoms. I definitely did have symptoms. I only took the pills 3 days ago, things have started to improve but I'm still seeing symptoms of Chlamydia; yellow and watery semen, slight aching of the testes. I'm also still awaiting on blood / urine results.

You should have no sexual contact for at least a week after taking the medication. If any oral sex was preformed (if she went down on your best friend) then yes it is very likely she will contract it

Tested positive for chlamydia and was given 2 pills to take at once. I assume it was azithromycin but i threw away the bottle. After a week my symptoms have subsided slightly but they are still there. Ive been referred to a different doctor and they want me to do the same treatment again... will this work? Why didnt it cure it the first time?

Hi guys I took a test about a month back and had a call from the clinic saying my test was positive and that I have clymidia. I got treated for it but I had sex in the 7 days with my partner and I didn't think it would effect it but the nurse told me to go back and get re treated but I'm too embarrassed to go back as there's too many people at the clinic. I did research online and found out you can buy the Azithromycin Tablets but I was wondering how many you have to take to cure it because most websites only do 3 in a box and I had 4 at the clinic. Help please

I have a question about a year in a half ago my ex and I were both infected and treated we had sex on the last day of my treatment and are no longer together now I've been with my fiancé for a year and am worried that I could still be infected from over a year in a half ago I never thought about it till recently did I infect my fiancé? Do I still have it? I've also been trying to concieve and have had no luck thinking maybe this couldn't be why? Someone help I don't have the insurance to go get treated again
