How long does Azithromycin take to cure chlamydia

Thank you so much, I was thinking they made a mistake of some sort. I was like "2000mg?? WTF?!" And it cracks me up you mentioned "you will have an immediate bowel movement within about 20min." Because right before I got on the computer I experienced some serious bowel movement of my own lol. Thanks again though, I was truly worried about over-dosing.

I disagree with the person saying you NEED psychological help after getting a STI. I would however recommend seeing a counselor at least once if you recently received an STI or have just been treated. It can't hurt talking about it in a safe environment that has full confidentiality. I contracted Chlamydia and had obvious signs within a day. I spent Christmas Day in a clinic and after getting two negative results back I finally got treated for it on Valentine's Day. The stress of having bad symptoms and not knowing what it is can be unbearable. Spending the two most romantic holidays feeling isolated and contagious didn't help any either. Talking to a counselor for me was a right choice because I couldn't bring myself to talk about it to any of my friends or family.

My Doctor gave me two 400mg Suprax and four 250mg Azithromycin to take that day. It felt like it was doing something within 6 hours but I still have a few symptoms. The full week isn't up yet so wish me luck. From all of this I've learned to stop playing 'Russian Roulette' and to always, always, always, always, always, always, always wear a condom. The only exception being when I find the right girl, not just who's available, and we both get tested. Mistakes happen, so do whatever is necessary to deal with the problem at the soonest appropriate time.

I think he meant more for people who have more than 1 partner dude.

Sometimes it takes a little while for the symptoms to completely go. However, I think that they should have gone in 9 days. I suggest going back to your GP/STD clinic just to be sure

hey im haveing truble u already no im gonna take pills i got off the net called Generic Zithromax azithromycin how long does it take to cure me ?

Uve prob not got it then, normally they dnt contact u at all if your all clear, u wud of heard from them after 10 days if u had anything but prob best to confirm it with them anyway!

My doctor said I shouldn't have anymore if I take 1mg of ziithromax. so if you have 2 400mg of suprax and 250 azithromycin you should be okay.

you can either get 2 pills of 500 mg each or 4 pills 0f 250 mg each

Alcohol and azithromycin are both processed by the liver so drinking to excess can prevent its uptake, even though the manufacturer claims there are no issues. Best just not to drink, also azithromycin has a tendency to cause diarrhea so you need all the (non-alcoholic) fluids you can get.

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and also tested positive I took the 4 pills and the day after my boyfriend did the same we have waited 10 days but on the 10th dat we fooled around and the condom busted how long does it take to be cured? 

hi i was told i had chlamyida i have taken two rounds of antibiotics and i am about to go back in to get tested for the third  time has anyone else had to take a couple rounds before it was cleared up?? im freaking out why im not clear  yet!!!
