I have a friend who started to receive therapy for his condition. Since that moment, he drives me crazy what kind of drug he is taking. His doctor just said it is Hydrochlorot and he needs this medicine to feel better. Now I want to ask if there is anyone, who might tell us more about this medicine. What is the most important information we should know about Hydrochlorot?

Very important thing he should know is to reduce nighttime urination, take Hydrochlorot early in the day, unless otherwise directed by his doctor. He should use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities while he takes therapy with this drug. Hydrochlorot may cause dizziness, so if he ever experience dizziness, he should avoid these activities. Hydrochlorot is a thiazide diuretic, known as water pill. It decreases the amount of fluid in the body by increasing the amount of salt and water patient lose in his urine. Most commonly, Hydrochlorot is used to lower blood pressure and to decrease edema or swelling. However, Hydrochlorot may also be used for purposes other than those, depending of patients’ condition and choice of his doctor. Nobody should take Hydrochlorot without first talking to doctor, especially if patient have an allergy to sulfa-based drugs such as sulfa antibiotics. In this case, patient might have an allergic reaction to Hydrochlorot. If your friend notices any strange side effect of this drug, he should report it to his doctor, until then he should not be so much worried.
