Hi everyone. I am 14 years old and a girl. Right now school is out but will be starting in 2 days so I really need to fix this. It seems I cannot sleep my mother will try to make me sleep, but I will just lay there and do nothing. I do not fall asleep the whole night. This has been happening for the past 3 day. You can try taking valerian root. It is a natural herbal supplement and can be found at walgreens or walmart. just follow the dosage instructions. Sometimes taking melatonin with it helps even better. Try taking it a couple hours before bedtime and do not drink any caffeine at least 4 hours before bedtime and stay away from heavy meals before bed as well. You can also eat a light carb filled dinner as well.
