I bled like a well using birth control, Nortrel and depro-vera at 33 yrs, with no children

The end of October of this year 2009, my period started and ended towards the last week of November, a whole damn month

I've noticed irregular periods that last two weeks tops from 2002, which started heavy and ended light, after GYN's to GYN's, I ended

up at the hands of a dumb ass doctor that didn't know what she was doing. I made arrangements to see her the end of October to

discuss the situation I was having but things became worst,

She prescribed the Nortrel birth control pills, and two weeks later I was still bleeding, then it stopped for a week then it returned real

heavy, I saw blood and clots everywhere, couldn't enjoy life or even really go out

I told this dumb ass doctor that the Nortrel is not working and I need something else, so she decided to inject me with the depro-vera

and that didn't do any good, then she wanted to prescribe an IUD, and that is where I had to draw the line, time to change this jackass before I throw down a fit , I then switched doctors

I continued to bleed, then I started feeling hopeless and wanted to scream, I took myself to the ER at a hospital, but there was nothing that they could do

good thing that I didn't have cancers, fibroids , anemia or anything life threatening

I wanted to put my hands up and throw down a fight, I was mad as hell, then I was told that I needed to pray, after tears and prayer,

and changing doctors, I became better, during the last week of November my period went away, now the question is how long will this last?

Hi aries,
I must say, you have some strength to you young lady. I would have wanted to "throw down" a fight much sooner.
Honestly, sounds like Someone was listening (prayer), I wouldnt worry further, just enjoy the time and be thankful. Please dont worry and stress your body, worrying only makes you sick, I should know, I am the queen of worry at times.
Take yourself a deep breath, smile and enjoy your blessing.

Lots of Hugs,
Hizgrace
