Girls aren't as obvious about it, but yes, they often get really turned on.  You're young and full of hormones.  As long as you know how to be discrete, and you're not masturbating and orgasming so much that it starts to hurt after a while (yes, that is a real danger) then I don't see a problem.

I remember sitting in classes in high school and college and getting so turned on thinking about sex, and that was before I was very sexually active.......It doesn't get better, now I get crazy turned on thinking about past sexual encounters.  

The remedy for me was intense physical activity as in year round sports. It was the distraction and activity that enabled me to minimize the desire to  masturbate. I didn't even have sexual intercourse until after graduating from high school.

I think the physical activity/ exercise does something to reduce the hormonal thing.....
