Okay, I had uprotected sex dec 8, 2006. I spotted monday evening. Later during the week I have been having pains in my stomach, lower back pains, and nausea. What am I to do? I am only 15yrs.old i dont have a way to the doctor now. My school nurse told me to wait two weeks then come see her. What am I to suspect? I need some guidance. :-(

Im no doctor so all I can give is friendly advice on what I know and have read about.

Firstly, when was the first day of your last period before your spotting?

The symptoms your describing sound a little like it could be implantation bleeding (where the fertilised egg is embedding in the womb) or it could just be all the stress of it. You wont know until you take a pregnancy test.

Is there a family friend or someone who you can confide in and talk to about this, they may be able to buy the test for you if you are stuck for money. The best thing you can do is chose someone you trust and TALK to them. Dont bottle this up and get yourself into a worrying state. It will be no good for you and no good for the baby if you are pregnant.

If the test comes back negative, wait another week and if still no period take another one.

When you say you have no way to the doctor, what do you mean?

I hope everything works out okay for you.

apparantly worrying about being pregnant or having an std can bring on the symptoms of it so try to relax. best thing to do is take a pregnancy test in 2 weeks as nothing will show before then anyway. im not a doctor but i've had similar scares. you might want to have a general women's health check up while you're there too, it can only reassure you that everything's fine!

in the future i recommend getting a morning after pill the day after if possible (once you're 16 this will be easier, i know). only use this for emergencies though! use condoms! i've found non-latex ones to be much better than normal latex condoms (Durex's Avanti range are good), they feel much more natural as they conduct heat better. However i have found they are more fragile if the guy is overly large in length or girth! going on the pill is a good way to regulate periods, decrease the severity of cramps and of course act as a backup in emergencies!
