I have been prescribed methocarbonal when I sprained my muscle to relive the pain. I am thinking that now since I am taking this drug, could I quit the physical therapy and if I could go back to work? Also, I skipped my dose a couple of times, what should I do about it?

Listen to me carefully; I made the same mistake you are thinking about doing. Under no circumstances should you quit physical therapy as methocarbonal is not a substitute for the rest or physical therapy needed for proper healing. Even if you feel better, as the drug may make you feel, don’t push the recovery. If you go back to your activities too quickly, you can only damage the muscles even more and further your recovery which happened to me. When you miss a dose ( but make sure you don’t ), take it when you remember, if it is too close to your next dose, skip the first then and just take another one.
