I've been on Microgynon 30 for 6 months and today (friday), 5 days before my last pill is due to be taken (wednesday), my period has started.
This has never happened before - I normally start on the Saturday, 3 days after I take my last pill.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be a result of? My doctor's surgery is closed until Monday and I don't want to spend my weekend fretting about what might be wrong!
Also, should I continue taking the pills even though I'm bleeding? Confused!

Have you been regular with taking your pills? I've experienced early bleeding after taking a pill late which just leads into a regular period. I don't think it's anything to worry about, unless you have other symptoms. Definitely finish the pack though!
