Everyone is different dude. I'm sure everything you have is perfect for YOU - because that is all it matter for. Do you ejaculate when you masturbate? If so - chances are your testicles are working perfectly - and - you sound young - so they may still be growing!

You should position yourself however it is most comfortable for you. I prefer it being down personally - but if you are young enough that you still get erections ALL THE TIME, they would be less noticeable (and more comfortable for you) if you point it up.
