YES! You are not imagining! I'm a healthy person and not typically in pain but I can feel the signals from the phone as sharp pains in my head, throat, hands, etc. wherever it is pointed. I'm on this site because of the laptop abdominal pain - which I have had every time I use it even near my abdominal area - even if it's not sitting on me. But the last three days it has been non-stop.

This is NOT crazy!,... this is very true!!! and is not happening to a few! Nooo, this happens to everyone who uses laptops on their legs. IT'S RADIATION !!! , This is what causes these disorders that can be fatal with time, so DO NOT use the laptop directly on your legs, it will be better to use it on a table and if you are at home remove the battery if it is connected to the current .
Also I, have very sore legs and you don't have any idea how painful it is when I have to pick up something from the floor,or when I lean,it is hard to return posture, because my legs are stiff and is painful.

I have the same problem; this time from a faulty laptop. The WiFi aerial is broken and ends not in the screen where it should, but right on my lap. It raises questions about even non faulty laptops. When you search for networks, you may like me imagine that your subjected to all the various WiFi networks anyway, so whats the harm in picking one up? The problem of course is that the communication is two way. The laptops broadcast an equally strong, unseen, except by the router, WiFi signal.

Ok. So mine is a bit different. I get the pain just by sitting in front of my laptop. They have done ultra sounds and scans but everything seems ok. Feel awkward when I keep going back to the Dr. with the same issue.

I have a i6 phone and a new MacBook pro .I'm noticing what feels like bad heartburn. I am a vegetarian and have a good diet. When away from the computer it gets better but when i get on it i notice it gets exceptionally worse right away. A few months back i went on a 2 week long camping trip with no computer or phone signal and didn't have any issues. Im wondering if theres a connection here

Hi there . I have no problem when using the lab top off line but when on line my nuts really hurt. And it is getting worse. Also when using mobile phone now.can also feel it in my wrists. What can you .. I am not the sort of person to complain about any thing and actually quite enjoy discomfort. Like sailing many 1000 ands of miles in wet cold conditions.

I have a silver MacBook Pro, 2012 and every time I set it on my lap for more than an hour or so, I start to feel discomfort in my hips/stomach/testicle area to point where I take it off before I get real pain.

I now use a Mac laptop with a metal case and get heartburn from it (altho I don't get heartburn from foods). I use cable rather than WiFi with my laptop, but still it feels like some irritating signal is coming from it. My last Mac was in a white plastic case and was pre WiFi. It never caused me a problem. I also get an ache in my left breast, so presume something on left side of machine is emitting some type of radiation. I usually sit with left front corner edge of metal resting at breast level on my lap. I use my Mac in bed slouched with my back against pillows (really helps me have good posture -- not). I usually jam heavy cotton material (like a bathrobe) between the Mac and my body. It helps.

Thought I was alone in this. Googled it and found others in the same fix.
How's this possible? Put my MacPro down five minutes ago and still have that burning feeling. Yet my Mac is relatively cool.

I started back to school about two years ago. I use the laptop on my lap while in my bed studying all the time. Needong a change of scenery I moved to my kitchen table and started using my laptop there and the pain went away. I thought because I had a previous fracture in my left thigh that my pain was from an old fracture. My leg had not bothered me in over 30 yrs. Obviously it could be both I don't know but I do know that I recently rented my house and I've been using my laptop for the past week in my lap again and my leg is throbbing again all the sudden. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but it just seems odd so I figured I would Google it and surprised to read that many people are having the same problem. Is anything being done about this and how can it be corrected other than obviously not putting your laptop in your lap? I still hurt from time to time and it's much worse when I do put my laptop in my lap. And when I get up to walk it hurts and is so weak. I fid notice my other leg started hurting too a while back. This pain was so bad that I actually thought I might have some sort of cancer or something and got really paranoid. I will mention that my laptop neber got hot and I did use a pillow mainly for ergonomics. So it wasn't heat rash/ burn pain. It was pain down to the hone like burning and throbbing.
