I want to stop taking Yaz, do I need to go the doctor?

My friend has been taking yaz for only 5 weeks and have alll the side effect symptoms that are noted. This is a bad medication and she needs to come off of it ASAP! SHe is going to a Dr. but does anyone know if she can just stop taking it until she gets medical help in a few days? Is this not a good idea? Please help. ?
