Hi, I had a fusion surgery and I am very tired even after two weeks recovery. How long more will it take for me to get back to full energy condition and do my everyday duties?

Hi, you need to understand that the spine is vital for construction of your body, it bears the whole organism . Any changes in it are long-lasting and you will need some time to have all the functions back again. The spine consists of a series of bones called "vertebrae"; between which are strong connective tissues. The disc between vertebrae allows movements and provides bending and rotating of the neck and back. Spinal fusion surgery, however, does not mean welding of the vertebrae, but the bone grafts are placed around the spine. Several months are needed for the body to heal the grafts.
