I had my thyroid removed (total) on May 2, 2008 - Cancer was found and I had the radio active thyroid treatment. My last test results were TSH 0.13 and Free T4 1.13. I FEEL AWFUL... I have never felt this terrible in my whole life. I was overweight before the surgery and have now gained even more weight and I can barely function - I am so tired and listless. I have noticed problems with my balance and concentration as well. I am on 150 mg. of levoxl a day. I've been scanning the web and reading and wonder if I have a problem with my hypothalamus. It all seems so confusing but it seems like all of my issues may be related with the hypothalamus - weight especially. Does it seem like this could be likely?
