Hi, I am 36 years old and I am suffering from rheumatoid arthritis several years already. I have tried several NSAIDs in my therapy and among them was Diclofenac. My very good friend told me that Diclofenac is banned and I didnt hear something like that. I would like to know if it is true.

Hi, I am also using diclofenac from time to time and I may tell you it is not banned. Diclofenac has side effects same as all other NSAIDs and in the long term use he may cause gastric or duodenal ulcer. However some of NSAIDs are worse for stomach while the other are better but generally they all cause similar problems.

heyy, I am a pharmacist already, no it's not banned, but it's better to take a drug with diclofenac sodium not potassium as it has far less side effects on both kidney and stomach.
