i have a question for anyone who can help..
i just recently went to the gynecologist and it was my first time. when she was going in with the clamper thing, she went pretty far. it burned & was very painful, i had to take a deep breath and squeeze my eyes shut. after she used the q-tip i saw there was blood on it. after we left, i was spotting blood all night & the next morning.
the following night, my boyfriend was fingering me and went in a lot farther than he has been and it doesn't hurt as bad, it only slightly burned, but for a second. is it possible that the gynecologist went in too far and broke my hymen? and usually how far is the hymen located in the vagina?

Unfortunately, yes, it's possible. It happens all of the time.  I'm not sure why more physicians don't explain that clearly.  As women, we're supposed to have control over our bodies.  Right, MD's?  What's the excuse?
