Hi all. I'm seventeen and around a week ago I lost my virginity, I have been sexually active since fourteen and was under the impression I had broken my hymen by fingering myself while masturbating (there was the tiniest hint of blood once). I have been fingered before, one partner in particular was extremely vigorous and would insert his fingers very deep and hard, it never hurt and I never bled so I presumed the hymen had been broken from that previous masturbation incident. I have also had dildos and vibrators inserted into me, about seven inches, and I still never bled.
However, for the first time last week I was penetrated by my boyfriend's penis. It didn't hurt and we were going very deep and hard, but at one point he pulled out and there was a lot of blood on the condom and his hands too (he hadn't noticed). It freaked me out because I was under the assumption my hymen had already been broken. It was either the next night or the night after that, that we tried 69ing. I was on top and he was performing oral sex on me, he started fingering me vigorously only to stop, swear, and tell me I was bleeding again.
I'll be going to the doctors tomorrow, I just wanted to hear other peoples opinions on what this could be. My boyfriend and I discussed it, and we're thinking that I either have an incredibly strange hymen that couldn't be broken by a seven-inch dildo but somehow by his six-inch penis, or that I possibly have a vaginal tear.
My questions are: is it possible for a hymen to bleed multiple times / for it to not have been broken fully after the first time? And regarding vaginal tears, do they heal naturally or will I need to be prescribed something? (Obviously I'll have it checked out, I just want to know what I'm getting myself into.)
Does anyone have any idea what's wrong with me? Each and every response is appreciated. Thank you :-)

First of all the hymen does not bleed as much as you are saying it is. You have something else that is causing your problem. Yes it is possible for it to bleed more than once depending on how soon after the first time you have sex again. You likely have a tear or a cut on the inside of your vagina that is causing this. If he fingered you during foreplay that could have caused it.

I think you may be missing the point of a hymen. As I understand it, it prevents GIRTH from entering the vagina.
You may have had 7 inches or 6 inches or fingers, or other stuff...
but it is the angle and the friction that stretches the hymen... and it IS possible for it to be torn after first few sexual experiences.

Yes but I started bleeding again when he fingered me a couple of nights afterwards, surely that couldn't have been the hymen?

Girl,
you've got to get to a medical person for these questions.
And tell your bf to stop being so rough down there.
I suspect he's been abusing you, and that's compounding what's going on.
See a doctor. :$

I'll absolutely see a doctor, I'm just a bit scared to and keep putting it off. I was hoping someone here could tell me it was normal lol.
But uh, no, I'm not being abused. I'm curious why you'd even say that :? We're in a very loving and committed relationship, i just both enjoy sex a little frisky and rough. It doesn't hurt at all, in fact it's always pleasurable, which is why this bleeding caught us both off-guard, I figure if it was a tear I would have felt even a slight pain or discomfort.

If bf is to rough, that may be the problem (or medical) I know many of us get off on the rough stuff and we don't realize that there is a problem until we are done, but bf could have made a scab inside of you and everytime he goes back in he opens it up. Or he could have torn you some how during vigorous sex.
You have gotten to the Dr. by now. What did he say? Please let us know so that other posters here can learn from this. There are many people here that post the same concern.
P.S. Kirk was not accussing bf of abusing you. He just threw it out there as a suggestion. Many times folks that post here don't always tell the whole story right away. With gentle prodding from members like Kirk, they come back with a reply that has more information so we can beter help you, that's all there is there.

So when I masterbate I bleed. It doesn't feel like it has lubricant in it. It doesn't hurt. I'm not a virgin. I did have sex like two days ago. I'm spotting all the time. I was on depo. I've been off for more than a year. It feels like I'm on my period all the time but I'm not.

if you stopped depo and are spotting every day, that's a doctor's visit needed ASAP..... that has something to do with your period and nothing to do with sex.

Can you send me your email id? Your comments are very mature.want to discuss a problem

Umm I have a question...if you finger yourself and you bleed a little...is it possible to bleed again the first time u have sex?

Yes, its a general stigma around losing virginity that the first time a girl has sex, she will bleed.
The Hymen may be used to fingers as they can shape more to the vagina, but when a penis is inserted, the girth of the penis will stretch the hymen, sometimes causing a tear, which is common and completely normal.
