Hi everyone. I have partial hearing loss and I have heard it can be sigh of tumor. Is that true? I have heard something about Acoustic Neuromas caused by hearing loss? How can I check that? How common is that?I am a little bit afraid regarding this problem of mine.

Hearing loss can be sigh of tumor. One of them is the one you mentioned. Acoustic Neuroma is a benign tumor and relatively rare. It will present most often with hearing loss in one ear. There are also larger tumors and they can be a reason for hearing loss but also pressure causing headaches and mental confusion. When this occurs, treatment becomes urgent.
