Hey everyone.
OK, maybe this question will be funny for you but I really need to ask it. Is recurring déjà vu feeling a warning sign of anxiety? I heard couple of ladies and one boy talking about this, so I really don't know what to do. It seems to me that this is so unreal, but who can tell? Somehow I believe that this is some sign of psychosis, if you know what I mean.
Do you even know is deja vu connected with anxiety or what?
I have so many things about this, but I am afraid that I am going to make a mistake lol

I don't think that you can actually link these two together, and I don't think that you can deny the fact that there is a possibility for these two to be linked together. Do you understand what I am trying to say?
Déjà vu is something that is a bit of an unexplored thing even today. There is not so much known about this and scientists don't really know why is this occurring. Because there aren't many things known about this, you cannot really link this to anxiety or say that it can't be linked to anxiety, at least that is my point of view.

Everyone experiences déjà vu at some point, but not as often as people suffering from anxiety or people who are about to get into that messy condition. That's why it is called recurring déjà vu.
So if you ask me, I honestly don't know whether there is a link between these two or not, however, these studies say that there might be a link anyway. You can try and search for these studies online, you won't have a problem finding them.

Hi there. First of all, thank you everyone about your comments. Another thing is that I was talking to my good friend, she is working with me and we started to discuss about this topic as well. She told me that she also do believe that these two you can link together but that she is not so sure. But now, when I am reading your post, it really seems like an crazy idea to me. I know what is deja vu and I don't know that a lot of people can't even explain it. Some of the people haven't even felt it. That is why I really don't know what to think about this :/

Hello there guys. I am having those ridiculous deja vu feelings all the time, but I am perfectly healthy. At the beginning it freaked me out and I didn't know what to do. Those episodes started to worry me because I was feeling really weird. So I also tried to search on the internet what might be a problem, and I found this - that those kinds of deja vu can be a warning sign of anxiety. So I consulted my doctor about this and he told me that this is quite impossible and that this can happen to certain people, but that is so rare that I should not even think about this. Sometimes I still have these episodes, but I am fine.

I don't know what to think about this. I am actually really interested to know more about déjà vu since I find it extremely interesting and I am reading stuff about it from time to time. I've come across some articles about recurring déjà vu being somehow connected to anxiety and I've also found plenty of articles saying that the articles connecting these two things are completely wrong. I myself wouldn't connect déjà vu to any condition, including anxiety. Déjà vu is just déjà vu, it doesn't need any cause, it doesn't have any cause, it just happens like that with no particular reason.

I've never had anyone tell me about recurring déjà vu. I had a couple of déjà vus myself but I didn't think of it to be connected to any kind of conditions or diseases or I don't know what.
However, when it comes to recurring déjà vu, I kind of think that it could be connected to anxiety. You are always anticipating something bad to happen when you are suffering from anxiety and you are overthinking all the situations that could happen so once some of these happen, you feel like it's a déjà vu. At least this is how I see these things.

Well, now when I am reading all your posts I can't tell you what to think about this. And you know why? Because my friend told me yesterday that she was reading some research and she told me that there is a huge connection between deja vu feeling and having problems with anxiety.
Personally, I had a deja vu a lot of times before I find out that I am dealing with anxiety but who can tell, right? Maybe it is all about me and maybe what I believe it is not correct. So, thank you for sharing something like this with me.
