I Am 18 and NOT a heavy smoker. In this month, i smoked like 1-2 times. The last time was a week ago and I still have the dejavu effect. How long will it take? Does it have anything to do with the THC still remaining in the blood or something?I've experienced the deja-vu effect before and it lasted for a week or two, it might be the same this time but I am freaking out!I actually think it didn't last this long the first time when I think about it. I know a lot of others have experienced this, so a few answers about how long this will last, or any other conclusions would be very helpful! Like, should I be concerned about my mental health?

iv had the same experience and i still get a few hints of the effect even after i havent smoked for a while but it might be just how ur mind reacts to the thc level in the weed because of the paranoia the weed awakens but if u keep smoking it will eventually go away but when it is thier dont freak out just think positive because you can have a bad trip.

Do you still get that feeling? I first experienced it when I was smoking at 15 and had a panic attack thinking things had already happened were happening again. I forgot about it and stopped smoking until I was 20 and then it happened almost every time I smoked. I stopped smoking and I still get that feeling even though I haven't smoked in 3 years. I think I've always had deja vu, smoking just made me more aware of it.

Right okay,

I’ll save everyone here and tell you that the De ja vu you’re experiencing is because you have undiagnosed epilepsy and if you go to a neurologist and get an EEG done, it’ll show that your brain waves are firing abnormally sometimes which is causing you to experience de ja vu. If you want it to stop you need to get an anti convulsant medication.

Just because you don’t fit doesn’t mean you don’t have epilepsy. Seriously I’ve been there, done that.
