I know that tempeh basically looks a little like brains, when you see it in the package. Is that because it is made from whole soy beans? I am curious about the process of making tempeh and it would be great if someone could tell me how it is done. Thank you for any responses!

To answer your first question, tempeh is indeed made using whole soy beans. Secondly, it can be made at home and it is very easy to do so, even though you will need a few appliances and a tad of patience too.
